The Satimo Stargate 64 Chamber is a unique environment.

Named after its ring of 64 test antennas, it looks like the portal from the sci-fi franchise of the same name and sits within a fully anechoic 6m cube test chamber. It can perform full three-dimensional measurement and visualisation of the performance of both the radio and antennas of devices over the air – enabling body-worn products and their antennas to be accurately measured in situ.

Cambridge Filmworks have teamed up with Cambridge Consultants to produce a unique virtual reality experience to give viewers a taste of what it’s like to step into the Satimo Stargate 64 Chamber.

Combining high-end virtual reality 360 degree photography with 3d visualisation, the new demonstration allows viewers to experience the chamber in full 360 VR as well as showcasing the cutting edge scanning capabilities of the facility.
