Every year, approximately 375,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer, and by 2035 that number is expected to exceed 500,000 annually. The new hospital has been created to address this growing challenge by enabling earlier diagnosis, more precise treatments, greater use of genomic medicine, artificial intelligence and real-time patient data, while reducing unnecessary hospital visits wherever possible.
