The new Cambridge Festival will take place from 26 March – 4 April 2021, with a series of free online events and activities including podcasts, films, panel discussions, virtual tours, walks and talks. The Cambridge Festival welcomes everyone to explore and discuss a range of topics through talks, hands-on activities, performances, exhibitions, tours and films.

Cambridge Filmworks have teamed up with the University of Cambridge as Digital Partners to develop all film content for this exciting new event. From in-depth lectures with top University researchers, live panel discussions and researcher films to conversations with world-leading academics the Festival really will have something for everyone.

The Festival combines the renowned Cambridge Science Festival and the Festival of Ideas and will cover topics as diverse as AI, climate change, philosophy, history, pandemics and the environment.

These three short social media trailers feature Mathematician and Broadcaster Bobby Seagull, Climate Scientist, Mathematician and Director of Cambridge Zero Dr Emily Shuckburgh and Geneticist and Principal Research Associate at MRC Metabolic Diseases Unit and a Scientific Director of Genomics/Transcriptomics Core at the University of Cambridge Dr Giles Yeo.
