This brand new animation for the Bennett Institute for Public Policy summarises a new report on Measuring Social and Cultural Infrastructure, funded by the British Academy.

It outlines how social and cultural infrastructure can be defined, and shares a framework for measuring the critical, yet often overlooked, assets, facilities and spaces that make up our shared social and cultural infrastructure.

The framework can be applied at the national level and is also relevant for regional and local governments, funders, institutions, community organisations, and, finally, the private sector, who are involved in the provision and maintenance of these key assets.
