Cambridge Filmworks have delved into the rich history of Cambridge University Press capturing the Press Museum on film.

Cambridge University Press has published the works of over sixty Nobel Laureates and the Press Museum contains original and facsimile copies of items including a letter from Albert Einstein, an edition of the King James Bible printed in 1638, and copies of works from Sir Isaac Newton and John Milton.

The Press Museum also houses original printing press machinery and a selection of John Baskerville’s punches (steel rods with a letter carved backwards on the end), the originals of the incredibly popular Baskerville typeface that we use today.
