Cambridge Filmworks would like to say a big congratulations to Cambridge Consultants Isle of Ely rower John Hale and his partner for winning gold at the Commonwealth Regatta in Strathclyde last month, bringing him a step closer to achieving his dream of competing in the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Cambridge Filmworks have produced a new film following John, a Mechanical Designer at Cambridge Consultants, getting under the skin of what it takes to succeed both as a top performing sportsman training for the Rio Olympics and as a leading Mechanical Designer within Cambridge’s top Product Development company. Filmworks director Adam who joined John on an early morning training session along The Great Ouse in Ely commented ‘ it was a real privelage to capture John as he took to the water on such a superb early summer morning. We used our state of the art UAV camera drone to track his journey along the river and the results were stunning.’
