Behaviour and Health Research Unit – Brand New Animations!

Based in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, within the School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Cambridge, the Behaviour and Health Research Unit contributes evidence to national and international efforts to achieve sustained behaviour change to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.

The main focus of the BHRU’s work is on developing effective ways of changing four key sets of behaviour – smoking, excessive consumption of food and alcohol, and physical inactivity – to prevent most of the preventable non-communicable diseases including many cancers, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Cambridge Filmworks and The Behaviour and Health Research Unit have now worked together to produce two brand new, fun, engaging and informative animations to showcase the BHRU’s vital work and aims.
