Action For Children

Founded in 1869, Action for Children is Britain’s oldest charity. Today they run over 650 projects helping some the most vulnerable and neglected children in the UK. With over 10,000 employees from Belfast to London, Inverness to Cornwall, keeping connected and up to date with the latest news, stories and events is essential to their work.

To solve this, Cambridge Filmworks produce a quarterly video news magazine covering the latest stories and events from across the organisation, keeping all projects and staff members, however busy or remote, in touch.

“Being a charity, our video requirements cover filming in our services around the UK, interviewing some of the most vulnerable children and young people who are willing to share their story. Cambridge Filmworks go out of their way to deal with these situations with sensitivity and tact, really putting the subject at ease and making the filming process enjoyable for all involved. Some of our projects have been so impressed that they have asked Filmworks to go back and do more filming work with the young people.” Emma Wilson, Internal Communications Manager, Action for Children
